What are your expectations and or what are you looking forward to in the second semester. Good luck on finals, remember to clear out your pe lockers.
I enjoy getting to know people i didnt know at first and when we did that clock game i was fun i learn about people where they are from. My not favorite things were during jumping over the rope. I hope to learn more new things in second semester. Thanks Mr. H :)

I really enjoyed the team bonding that we did. I feel like it prepared us well for when we started to rapell, which I also really enjoyed. I didn't enjoy the days we were in the CV room, because I prefered the days where you taught us a workout. It got me more motivated. Second semester, I am looking forward to the trip, and the second if you really knew me... if we ever finish our first ones.. I feel that I didn't know what to write the first time, and now I would like to open up more and read my own.

I really enjoyed getting to now eachother and how we all worked together. i made some great friends in gym class and i am not looking forward to changing to a different class. i also like the if you really knew me..... i loved how everyone put thereself on paper and such. i didnt like the trust falls but know i now why there are important. i am really looking forward to the trip.

ReplyDeleteThis semester has been a lot of fun. I really enjoyed some of the team building exercises, such as the rope jumping. Rappelling was a great activity and I looked forward to it all day. I believe we work well in our groups because of all the team building. I'm really looking forward to Second semester. The Trip and being able to make our own rappel groups is going to be really fun.

This semester went by pretty quick, but I enjoyed it. All the activities we did in either small groups or as a class were a lot of fun.I liked rappelling even if it was kind of scary. Some of the things I didn't like were going to the CV room it was sooo boring, fitness days weren't so bad. I'm looking foward to the field trip!

One of the most memorable moments of 1st semester was probably the trust falls. Everyone was so scared of doing it and I just remember falling on my group with another person and they caught us both. I'm glad I chose to stay 2nd semester because my schedule switched so I switched it back :) I can't wait for Devil's Lake and all that's to come for the rest of the year!

I think this past first semester was difficult for me overall. Just getting back into the swing of things with school..and just the difficulty of all the work junior year..I was pretty overwhelmed with the work and stresses of testing and preparing for college. I really thank this gym class...where though sometimes I feel not everyone in the class is willing to open up and see some people who just need friends..I really have been able to get comfortable in this class..and sometimes just work out the stress. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the if you really knew me papers. I think for me..that was the first time I was just able to understand some things that are going on in some people's livess...and I feel that our hearts are just want to reach out as a class to each letter. I also really enjoyed the team building excercises. I know that at times our team/class got frustrated...I am so proud of our class and just know that it was a time we still had fun with :)
I'm excited for second semester for this class. i think slowly...friendships are definitely being made :) I can't wait for the second round of if you really knew me..and also.. just more rappelling..and such :)
Thanks class

The highlights of first semester for me was getting so close to everyone and really learning a lot about people. Also, I enjoyed hanging upside down as scared as I was , Im proud I did it :)
ReplyDeleteBesides fitness days, I enjoyed pretty much everything. haha Fitness days were the only downer but even those in the CV room weren't that bad. Next semester I'm looking forward to more fun activities and climbing and all that fun stuff! :)

I don't think there was anything I really disliked. Overall, I enjoyed this semester. We all get to get to know these people in our class and got to build trust between each other. I'm looking forward to having this class second semester with everyone!

I really like repelling so far, and really just most of the team building activities in general I think prepared us for the repelling well. I dont really know what I would say I disliked about first semester, but if I had to pick something I guess I would say fitness days which I'm not allowed to say...
ReplyDeleteOverall I really enjoyed first semester.

Well as we all know fitness days are NOT my favorite, but everything we have done this year BESIDES those are very fun. I feel that I have gotten a lot closer to the class and my favorite is "If you really knew me's" so I hope to do more of those.. Second semester I'd like to do more team building activities and more NAP TIME SESSIONS. hehehehe
ReplyDeleteAlly Manade
I really liked some of the team building stuff we did. Each activity got us to feel a little more comfortable around each other in such simplistic ways. I didn't like how the getting-to-know-each-others'-name stuff went on for such a long time. I think that could have been shortened a little bit. I'm looking forward to seeing what all we're going to do in the next semester and what kind of new stuff we end up learning.

I enjoyed making new friends and I liked doing the yoga we did and the trust falls somewhat. I didn't so much liked repelling at first because of the hight but I'm sort of getting use to it. I somewhat look forward to the second semester but part of me is unsure about what Mr.H has instore for us.

I really enjoyed this semester. I love the team building games you choose for us to do like the blindfolded ones in the gymnastics room and when we were all tied together and blindfolded and had to walk around the gym. I believe that greatly contributed in our getting to know one another and to loosen up around everyone. I didn't particularly like having to start repelling so quickly. I honestly wasn't ready or prepared. I'm looking forward to next semester, though.

Some of the highlights for me were getting to know everyone from our class with teambuilding. Some of the activities were really fun. I'm starting to get used to repelling and even kinda like it. If I had to pick something I didn't like, I would say being in the CV room, but even that wasn't too bad. I'm really happy with how this class has gone first semester and I'm looking forward to next semester, especially Devil's Lake.

I liked doing all the strange group activities& if you really knew me papers. I felt like they brought us together even though we kind of moaned about them when they took much effort to do to get to where we wanted to be. I didn't like fitness days much because they were dull and boring, but good exercise. What I'm looking forward to second semester is devils lake!!! __brenda^_^~
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this semester in this class. The memorable activity is a trust fall. I was scared at first but my group encouraged me and I felt safe. We had a lot of chance to get know and corporate with each other. I want to enjoy more in 2nd semester!!

I really liked this class so far... Especially being able to know other people better and bonding as a group. I really enjoyed trust falls, not because I like falling, but because I was fully able to trust my group members. I also like when we meditated and did yoga. Those were fun days. I like that we're doing the "If you really knew me" activity, because it allows us to know each other better and encourage us. What I didn't really enjoy was the activities that we had to have our eyes closed in... It was a little awkward for me, and (as a general rule) I don't like not being able to see... So yeah. This class is lots of fun and I'm looking forward to next semester!

I liked doing yoga and meditation, and of course the if you really knew me's. I feel like they gave our class more of an opportunity to gain trust with each other. The fitness days weren't my favorite (obviously!) but everything other than that was pretty fun. I'm excited to keep rappelling next semester and to go to Devil's Lake in the spring!
ReplyDeleteNicole Janowski
Over first semester, my favorite activities were probably Trust Falls & If you really knew me. I think that both those activities made our class closer. I also liked how our class became closely knit all over only one semester, i think that, that is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteSecond Semester,(agree with kara)I'm looking forward to doing the second round of If you Really Knew Me and stepping up the courage to read my own & the Devil's lake trip.
And I still think we should do meditation days every late start (:
im excited for second semester because of getting more involved in doing stuff like climbing and hopefully roller blading ? and i feel this class is fun and everyone gets along real well
ReplyDeleteomg totes forgot to do this oneee
ReplyDeletei liked getting to know my peers and making a nice close group of friends
i liked the yoga and meditation
i didn't like the games when everyone got mad at e.o? kinda pointless imo.
im looking forward to climbing alot more during 2nd sem.
-christine veitttt
I like getting to know my group and working with them.Yes i have to agree with some of my classmates i enojy doing yoja and meditation even though i'm not use to it i still like it.Some of the things i did not enjoy where when we have to do the game where we had to close our eyes and trust our teamates guiding us, i didnt mind it but it was a little too soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking foward to getting to know people more and doing fun activities like repelling, i like this is everyone gets along good, which is always a bonus.
