Let us know how climbing is going for you, things you have accomplished, fears you have overcome or fears you still have. What are things you still want to accomplish during our next 12 days of climbing.
its fine pretty content.. and i want to jump from wall 4 or 5 ? and try and grab that yellow thing and cross the platform on the ceiling and jump from it to the net.
I am having a ton of fun! Although it's hard at parts, and my arms sometimes get to the point where they are numb, I really love climbing. I'm always willing to try new things and take chances, because I know my group won't let me fall. I guess the next thing I want to accomplish is the high overhang. I've tried it, but didn't get it, so the next time I get the chance to do it, hopefully I'll pull through. I also want to do something with a partner because it looks challenging but fun.
I sm during ok on the climbing part. I'm fears are trying not to try i'm hardest and overcome my fear. I want to accomplished this getting ready for devils lake.
So far I love climbing! Ive climbed up and jumped off the ledge twice. One time from the rope tube thing. Slowly, its getting easier to jump with each time, so thats good. Ive reached the top of the wall with the ledge on the side and Ive gotten half way with both the high ledge, the wall with the missing rock, and the cracked wall. So far I really enjoy it. I hope to be able to make it to the top of some of the more challenging walls by the end of the year, but we'll see! :) --Samantha Noga
I really enjoy climbing especially jumping! I still get scared everytime but I know that no one would let me fall. I learned to trust my group, but one time someone was belaying me and the next day someone told me that they weren't paying any attention to me climbing at all, and they were scared I was going to fall. That got me scared again, but I trust mostly everyone in my group. I'd still like to jump more especially with other people and actually finish some of the tougher walls.
I like climbing a lot. I'm not super afraid of jumping, but walking around when you're up there is a little unnerving. I trust everyone in my group, and I'd like it if we finished more of the difficult walls. Yea
Climbing is going well for me. I feel that I have accomplished a lot over this semester. But I feel like I need to appove a little more with the hights because I still fear them. But other then that things are going okay for me. my group is doing great job.
I'm really enjoying climbing. I sort of knew I would. My biggest fear was falling, but I've definitely overcome that because I've learned to work with my team better. My biggest accomplishment I want to achieve is getting up Wall #1.
Climbing is going well for me. My arms get really tired and sometimes I'm left with a sort of jittery feeling when done climbing. I still would like to be able to get to the top of other walls and also want to jump off and fall down fast and be caught. Im sure I'd love the rush feeling. I completely trust my group and have no fears but when I'm climbing and walking up there I am very nervous inside and shake all over D: -Brenda _^.^~
I like climbing and i dont at the same time. Im really looking forward to devils lake and it will be a different experiance than just climbing the walls. I dont really know what i want to do but im sure there will be something.
I really like climbing. It's fun and challenging. Some of the things were really hard for me..but I was able to pull through and accomplish them even when my arms hurt or when I'm scared. I'm still scared to jump. I don't like big drops or anything like that. Overall, its been great getting to know my group more.. Hopefully we can bond more.
Climbing is going well. i feel very safe with my group, and we all trust each other. I feel really ready for the trip! one thing that i want to accomplish over the next 12 days is still getting over my fear of heights. i think that's kind of a problem still.
I think I got better on climbling. It is still required much energy and muscle, but I really felt fun and happy when I achieved and reached at the top! I trust my group and feel very comfortable climbing with them.
Climbing is going extremely well. We did conquer our fears together by climbing the dangling duo. I am excited for devils lake and feel that we practiced climbing enough so that I am prepared as well. Xtine Veit

climbing is going suuuuper well. i've jumped off of literally the ceiling by myself and with someone else, which i never thought i'd be able to do. my group is awesome, everyone contributes and everyone trusts each other with every job. over the last days of climbing, i really want to try and make the most of them for the trip!
Climbing is going very well. I love jumping from the ceiling but I'm still pretty scared of heights so I definitely freak out while I'm up there. I want to do more partner things but other than that, I've pretty much tried everything. Christina Greenbaum
I think its really fun. I wasnt scared of climbing the wall but i was freaked out to jump off the ceiling. But once i jumped off I wanted to do it again. It was cool to go down with a partner. I absolutely hated the pamper pole. Just holding it up was making me sweat. I hope to try new climbing methods the next 12 days. Kim Karpiak
I am having a great fun on climbing!!I've even accomplished falling twice. I overcame fears a little bit and I also trust my teammates. I'm having a good time with them. I hope to try harder and enjoy climbing:) Yurika Shimizu
Climbing has gone really good for me. Im a little scared of hights and thats something I want to over come.I want to get to the top of something atleast one thing we have done because I have not been on the top for any of the climbing stations. I really want to go back to the net and try it again(: -Magaly H.
Climbing has been really fun. I think the hardest one so far for me personally would have to be the Dangling Duo. Fear wise, only thing I was worried for a second was fast falling after the rope ladder climb because of me being a guy and a harness not always being comfortable but it was all good after I got over that quick second. I'm looking forward to climb the other stations that I haven't climbed yet.
climbing has gone good i could say i'm still really scared of heighs and i feel like ican't hold on any longer because my hands start to hurt but im trying to get better in that because i get so close to the top but i just tell my group to put me down. The last 12 days i'm going to try really hard to reach to the top.

I absolutely love climbing! I don't really have any fears about climbing anything, so I'm excited for just about every climb.
ReplyDeleteThe only wall I haven;t accomplished yet is the Crack and the Diamond, so I would like to try and complete those.
My favorite climb, are anything with the High Ropes Course, so I would hopefully like to do at least one more of those in our last climbing group.
I completely trust my group & they are amazing!!
